Clowder Name: The Oneiroi -> The Erinyes

Description: Once upon a time, there were the Oneiroi who believed their dreams with the dead granted them power. They were dreamers, but they did not take actions beyond recruiting more to their dreaming.

The first three Oneiroi had children, and those children wanted more. They wished to rise in power with the help of the dead, not stay hidden in caves, dreaming but not doing. Then there came two cats, supposedly drawn to join the Oneiroi, who instead joined forces with their children to create a feared group.

The Erinyes rise, but the original three Oneiroi linger and watch. They cannot scorn their children, and perhaps there is merit to their words. They will watch and see, as they always have. The true Erinyes, however, will act.

Ranks:
The Kindly Ones: Faustus, Thanatos, Mephostopheles, Eris, Hypnos (Despite their name, the Kindly Ones are not necessarily 'kind' at all. They are the leading council, currently mostly composed of those who created the Erinyes. Each member of the Kindly Ones has a different strength.)
The Nightmares: Nox, Mars (The Nightmares are a title that linger from the time of the Oneiroi, but the name is more fitting than ever under the Erinyes. They are fighters, taught by the Night Shades.)
The Unconnected: N/A (Those young or new, who have not yet connected with the Night Shades.)
The Watchers: Aether, Khaos, Erebos (The Watchers are the original three Oneiroi. They are both respected and not, for while they are the parents of a number of the Kindly Ones, they never acted in a way the Kindly Ones perceive as power and still never have. )
