Hello again everyone! Since our last update, it's continued to be an absolute delight to see your kitties and clowders' stories roll in. As of today, we've hit 100 entries in the Character Masterlist! This is an immense milestone, and I felt it was worthy of a small celebration before our next patch of new content hits. ... so...

Say "Hello" to Hooray!

"Hooray wants to meet new friends! Lots of them!"

Hooray! will be a part of New Paths's first-ever Event Raffle! They are a Cinnamon Smoke Black / Red Tortoiseshell Solid Longhair Rex Intersex with Low White Spotting and Gloves and Duplicate Ears and Angora carrying Classic. Their stats will begin with an even distribution of 2's across the board, and 50 Loyalty!

All registered users on New Paths will be able to partake in this raffle, with plenty of options for acquiring tickets!

Each method may be redeemed only once.

• Free Parking: Everyone receives one free entry, so long as they comment on the thread.
• Free Parking+: Anyone who does not have an approved cat or MYO with Storied rarity at the time of commenting may get an extra free entry.
• "Hello!": Draw/write a SSS Adventure Path entry including at least one of your cats (or a NPC, if you don't own one yet!) interacting with Hooray! (See note at the end of this News post.)
• Stock the Pond: Surrender a designed cat to the Wild Strays!
• Spread the Word: Post an advertisement for New Paths on a social media platform of your choice!

Once Hooray has met just about everyone, they'll pick a clowder to spend more time with. Meaning, this raffle will close on November 30th @ 11:59 PM EST and the winner will be selected shortly after! Hooray! has selected Eyemittens's clowder to stay with!

All other participants have received a staff grant of x1 Catnip as a consolation prize! Further consolation prizes are currently a consideration, especially for those who've claimed 3+ tickets. This post will be updated when they're finalized and have been added!

(Note: Whoever is submitting the SSS Entry will be able to receive a roll from Hooray! Submit them as if they are your own character being included, and you'll receive all your just rewards. Consider it a gift in "Thanks!" for hanging out with them!

• As a caveat, any permanent decisions such as scar tokens and character death will be nullified by Staff. Their Loyalty will also be unimpacted by decisions made. Otherwise, all three Adventure Paths are open, and the choices are yours to make!

Any SSS entries will not grant Hooray! Exp and therefore stats while the raffle is still in progress. They may still count toward Training Exp with the permission of the original artist afterward, though!)

Hey everyone! Thanks so much for the enthusiasm with New Paths. It has been a blast seeing everyone's little kitties.

Unfortunately we are still working on a fix for the leveling and stat system. At this time, if you would like to submit a claim we can manually level up your character and give you general stat point grants. This has to be done on the database's end (at least as far as changing levels and exp) so it may take time to get through level ups, but I'm hoping I can get us a work around as the extension itself has a bug. (wahh!) UPDATE: Levels and Stats have been fixed! YIPPEE!

On the bright side, I'm happy to announce the launch of Breeding! Each Clowder gets three breedings a month, with poly-breedings (3+ cats) counting as two of those breedings. Keep in mind that cats have to have both their First Steps and Guided Steps Milestones completed to participate in Breedings.

Additionally, there is a special event for the launch of Breedings that will last until the end of Summer- or September, in this case. The Mystery Match-up is a one-time, free Breeding that doesn't count toward your clowder's monthly limit. Your chosen cat will still need to have both of the Milestones mentioned above completed to participate. Check it out and enjoy!

Upcoming, we will be introducing several new Path prompts in the coming weeks, specifically for the Divine, Shades, and Speakers, so get ready for those! Special character "mutations" will be unlocked with these prompts, as well as more unique items. I'm also hoping to have more clowder specific prompts for fleshing out your clowders and getting some fun rewards as well. Additionally, shops will be introduced soon to give everyone some use for those hard earned pawprints.

New Path's has officially launched into Alpha!

There will be empty pages and missing features that will be added over time. Some details that may be missing on the site can be found in our Public Branch document and our Cat Genetics sheet.
